Rental Information:

Rent Start Date: the date when the device arrived at the recipient's address

Rent End Date: In Four weeks starting from the start date

Weekly Rental Amount($): $100

Initial Payment: 4-weeks rentals + courier fees (where applicable).

Courier fees: $25 delivery fee (additional $10 for rural addresses; same pricing applies to the return label; rural pickup not available)

The rental can be extended on a weekly basis at $100 per week.

Total Value of the Bioptron MedAll kit is NZD$6,713.

The rental can be extended on a weekly basis at $160 per week.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Rental Period

This agreement is for the rental of the device (“Device”) supplied by Brilin Functional Medicine Centre (“BRILIN”) to the Renter for a minimum rental period of four (4) weeks, commencing from the date the Device is received by the Renter. If the Device is returned early for any reason, the Renter acknowledges that no full or partial refund, credit, or pro-rata adjustment will be provided for unused rental time.

2. Ownership of Device

The Device remains the sole property of BRILIN at all times. The Renter acknowledges that they acquire no ownership rights or interest in the Device under this agreement.

The Renter agrees that BRILIN retains full rights of recovery and repossession of the Device in the event of breach of this agreement, non-payment, failure to return the Device, or misuse of the Device, subject to applicable New Zealand law.

3. Renter Responsibility and Liability

The Renter acknowledges that the Device is rented for their sole use and benefit and agrees to take all reasonable care of the Device during the rental period.

The Renter shall be fully responsible for any loss, theft, destruction, accidental damage, misuse, neglect, unauthorised modification, or deterioration of the Device beyond reasonable wear and tear.

In the event the Device is lost, stolen, destroyed, or returned damaged, the Renter agrees to immediately reimburse BRILIN for:
• The full replacement value of the Device and accessories
• Any repair costs
• Freight or recovery costs
• Any associated administrative or collection costs reasonably incurred

4. No Medical Claims or Guarantees

The Renter acknowledges and agrees that BRILIN does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions or diseases.

The Device is provided for wellness, relaxation, recovery, and supportive purposes only. Individual experiences and outcomes may vary.

BRILIN makes no guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding specific health outcomes, symptom improvement, or effectiveness of the Device for any condition.

Due to the nature of the service, rental payments are non-refundable once this agreement has been signed and the Device has been dispatched, collected, or used.

5. Return of Device

The Renter agrees to return the Device, accessories, and all supplied components in clean and good condition at the end of the rental period.

The Device must be returned via tracked and signed courier delivery, or by another method approved by BRILIN in writing.

The Renter remains responsible for the Device until it has been received and inspected by BRILIN.

6. Failure to Return or Damage Charges

If the Device is not returned by the agreed return date, BRILIN reserves the right to:
• Continue charging ongoing rental fees
• Charge late fees where applicable
• Recover the Device
• Charge the Renter for replacement or repair costs
• Charge freight, collection, cleaning, or administrative costs associated with recovery or repair

If the Device is returned damaged, incomplete, excessively worn, or not functioning due to misuse or neglect, BRILIN may charge the Renter the reasonable cost of repair or replacement using the payment method supplied under this agreement.

7. Rental Credit Toward Purchase

If the Renter confirms the purchase of a new device directly through BRILIN either before the rental period ends or immediately upon completion of the rental, BRILIN will credit 50% of total rental payments made toward the purchase price of a brand new device of the same model or kit hired, up to a maximum credit of NZD $500.

This offer:
• Applies only to purchases made directly through BRILIN
• Is not redeemable through third-party sellers or distributors
• Is non-transferable
• Cannot be exchanged for cash

• Cannot be combined with any other promotion, sale pricing, package deal, voucher, discount code, or special offer unless approved in writing by BRILIN

8. Identification Requirements

The Renter agrees to provide valid identification before the Device is released, including:
• A copy of a current driver’s licence or other government-issued photo ID
• Proof of residential address, such as a utility bill, bank statement, or insurance document

BRILIN reserves the right to decline rental where satisfactory identification is not provided.

9. Card Payment Authority

By signing this agreement, the Renter authorises BRILIN, Brilin Functional Medicine Centre, or its associated entities to charge the credit card or debit card provided for:

• Scheduled rental payments
• Approved rental extensions
• Late or overdue rental fees
• Replacement or repair costs
• Cleaning, freight, courier, or recovery costs
• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow instructions
• Any unpaid balances owing under this agreement
• Reasonable debt recovery or collection costs

The Renter agrees that BRILIN may retain card details securely for the duration of the rental agreement and until all obligations have been fulfilled.

Where practical, BRILIN will provide supporting documentation or explanation for additional charges upon request.

If a payment is declined or reversed, the Renter remains liable for all outstanding amounts and associated recovery costs.

This payment authority remains valid until all obligations under this agreement have been fully satisfied.

10. General

The Renter confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this agreement prior to accepting or using the Device.

If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
